St. Edward’s University Again Named a Top Producer of Fulbright U.S. Students
Austin, Texas — St. Edward’s University is proud to once again be named a Top Producer of Fulbright U.S. students for the 2023-2024 academic year — ranking as one of the top 3 universities in the Master's institutions list.
This is the 13th time that the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) has recognized St. Edward’s as one of the colleges and universities with the highest number of students selected for the prestigious Fulbright awards.
“It is an immense honor for our institution to once more earn this esteemed designation among the best in our field,” said St. Edward’s University President Montserrat Fuentes. “As a Top Producer for Fulbright students, St. Edward’s is committed to providing all of our exceptional students with transformative academic experiences and opportunities for international study and cultural exchange.”
Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Lee Satterfield commended all institutions awarded with this distinguished recognition, saying, “Fulbright’s Top Producing Institutions represent the diversity of America’s higher education community. Dedicated administrators support students and scholars at these institutions to fulfill their potential and rise to address tomorrow’s global challenges.”
Five students from St. Edward’s were selected for Fulbright awards for the 2023-2024 academic year, with four Fulbright winners — all Global Studies majors — accepting the opportunity to work, live and learn in their fields from South America to East Asia.
