Antidemocracy & Antisemitism: A Munday Library Teach-In “The Jew” has long provided societies a scapegoat onto which any number of fears and anxieties can be projected. In pivotal cultural moments during which diversity and democracy are challenged, such as 1920s Germany, antisemitism provides an insidious framework through which to disparage the very ideals of pluralism and equity.   Join us for a teach-in centered around the question: What is antisemitism and what does it have to do with antidemocratic movements? We’ll hear from experts, engage in discussion, and come away with specific strategies for combating the prejudices that fuel nationalist and antidemocratic movements.   Food and beverages served! From Monday, September 30, 2024 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM CDT at Munday Library.
