Professor of Literature

Dr. Lock teaches literary and cultural studies courses with an emphasis on critical approaches to regionalism and identity.  Her research focuses on the American West, as well as on the scholarship of teaching and learning.  She has served in a number of administrative roles at St. Edward's University, including Associate Vice President for General Education, Interim Dean of University Programs, and Capstone Director.
