She has been working in collaboration with associate professor Sasha West whose poems also address climate grief. Their collaboration has been exhibited at the Wright Gallery in College Station, TX and the Central Library Gallery in Austin, TX. Hollis is an actively exhibiting artist, including solo exhibitions at The Fine Arts Galleries at Northern Kentucky University; the Dishman Art Museum in Beaumont, TX; Women and Their Work in Austin, TX; Gallery 2506 in Chicago, IL; Redux Contemporary Art Center in Charleston, SC; the Reed Gallery at the University of Cincinnati in OH; the Museum of Art at Southern Mississippi University in Hattiesburg, MS; the Hiestand Galleries at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio; Flex Space, Pump Project Satellite Space in Austin, TX; Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX; and the University of St. Mary Gallery in Leavenworth, KS. Creative Expression Statement

Ranging from detailed drawings to sculptural installations, my creative works deal with memory, material consumption, waste, catastrophe and superficial loss. Questioning consumerist culture through evidence of accumulation, hoarding and collecting, piles of debris and trash fill my drawings and installations. Ongoing projects include a memoir-style project called Blanket of Fog, an installation exploring Police brutality and American domesticity called Domestic Brutality, and a collaborative project with poet Sasha West titled A Dark Wood Grew Inside Me reflecting both of our concerns over the environmental crisis and an uncertain future.
