Dr. Katherine Lopez is an associate professor of accounting in The Bill Munday School of Business with an emphasis on financial accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as accounting theory and research. Dr. Katherine Lopez teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is a CPA with five years of corporate and public accounting experience and eighteen years of experience in college teaching.
Dr. Lopez is actively engaged in research and publication in accounting, and has presented her research at both regional and national conferences. She enjoys teaching accounting to ensure students acquire a solid foundation in the material they will need throughout their careers. Her graduate-level accounting theory and research course is designed to teach students in-depth complex material and research skills needed for the CPA exam.
