**The university’s comprehensive fee is a consolidation of individual course and campus-required fees. This single fee replaces the prior fees for technology support, printing, labs, facilities, tutoring, student activities and other course fees. It does not replace individual on-demand and non-required service fees (i.e., private music lessons, transcript services, health insurance, and parking). Student Financial Responsibility Agreement (Student accepts directly in the Billing Center)

Financial institutions, including the financial offices of colleges and universities, are required by federal debt collection and consumer protection laws to be transparent with their billing and payment policies/procedures and collection requirements. Institutions must also ensure that students (consumers) are aware of their policies and responsibilities. For this reason, SEU requires that students accept the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement, which acknowledges their financial obligations and understanding of the related policies of the university. The agreement informs students of their financial responsibilities associated with enrolling for classes, living in on-campus housing and participating in meal plans; and explains the potential consequences that may result if a student fails to meet those obligations.

Our goal is to help students understand the cost of their education and the financial policies associated with their enrollment at SEU. The agreement, in conjunction with the Student Financial Services’ website, e-statement account information, letters and other documentation, helps explain the university’s expectations for payment, and allows us to clearly inform students of our policies related to billing, late payment, contact methods, etc.

Payment and Deadlines

We bill students a semester at a time. Generally, you will receive your official bill by email about a week after registering although you can request an estimated bill from your Student Financial Services advisor prior to registering. Refer to the Bill Payment section for more information on payment options and methods along with semester due dates for payment-in-full or balances financed through the university's monthly payment plan program.

Tuition Insurance

Through GradGuard, St. Edward’s offers a tuition insurance plan as added protection for students and families. This plan can reimburse your non-refundable tuition and housing costs after an unexpected withdrawal for a covered illness, injury, mental health disorder, and more.
