AUSTIN-St.
Edward's University announced the 2001-2002 officials for the Student
Government Association (SGA). The SGA acts as a liaison between
the student body and the administration through its work on University
councils, boards and committees.
SGA
is composed of representatives selected from the freshman, sophomore,
junior, senior and graduate classes. Executive officers are elected
at-large from the student body. Members also initiate projects designed
to meet student needs.
St.
Edward's University, founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross,
is an independent, Catholic, liberal arts university of 3,800 students
in Austin, Texas.
