This
slice of life comic drama is set in a Chicago hospital emergency
room on a busy Saturday night. With humanity beating at the door,
these doctors and nurses heroically save the lives of the off-beat
cast of characters who enter. E/R contains graphic representations
of medical procedures and trauma.
The
cast features equity guest artists and St. Edward's University alumni
Tim Russ, who stars as Tuvok (a Vulcan) on the popular drama series
"Star Trek: Voyager" and Bruce Young, whose film credits include
Phenomenon, Basic Instinct and The Color of Money. Productions of
"E/R Emergency Room" can be enjoyed April 18-29 at St. Edward's
Universityês Mary Moody Northen Theatre located at 3001 South Congress
Avenue. Show times are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.
and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10. Call 448-8484 for reservations.
