AUSTIN
Gregory T. Bourgeios, a partner with Galton, Cunningham
& Bourgeios, P.L.L.C., explains "Reducing the Cost of Conflict:
how to use mediation more effectively" during an Executive
Briefing at noon Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, in the Ragsdale Center's
Mabee Ballroom at St. Edward's University. Bourgeios' firm has mediated
more than 3,000 disputes and trained more than 1,000 both nationally
and internationally. In June, Galton, Cunningham & Bourgeios opened
the Lakeside Mediation Center, a tranquil environment dedicated
entirely to mediation.
Bourgeios'
presentation to the Austin business community is sponsored by the
Business Development Council (BDC), a group of business leaders
who serve as donors and advisors to St. Edward's University. Seating
is limited, so interested parties are asked to RSVP at 448-8512
by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2001.

Edward's University trustee and former Secretary of State Myra McDaniel
will introduce Bourgeios. Hosts for this briefing include Cindy
