What You Should Know

Transferring Your Academic Credits

St. Edward's accepts up to 66 hours of junior college or community college credit and up to 90 hours of university credit. Students must complete the last 30 of 50 undergraduate hours towards their degree in residence at St. Edward's.

All college-level coursework must be completed with a grade of C- or better to transfer. To be considered for admission, transfer students are encouraged to have a minimum, cumulative college GPA of at least 2.5.

The application essay and a student's most recent college work carry heavy weight within the admission review process. We encourage students to connect with their assigned Transfer Admission Counselor as early as possible to develop their individual transfer plan.
